Turbinate Coblation

Turbinate Coblation® uses radiofrequency to reduce the size of your inferior turbinates and improve your overall nasal airway.

This procedure is preformed in the convenience of your doctor’s office under a local anesthesia.  Once the nasal tissue is numb, a small wand is inserted into the lining and the tissue begins to shrink.  Directly after the procedure, you can often notice a significant improvement in your nasal airway.  This will slowly decrease for a few days due to mild swelling from the procedure, but you can expect a return to the open airway once the nose has completely healed. Studies have showed that the improvement is permanent and can greatly reduce the need for nasal sprays and decongestants in the future.
